Maki Omori


 

Japanese violinist, Maki Omori, is currently pursuing her Master degree in Manhattan School of Music with Professor Nicholas Mann and Professor Koichiro Harada.  She has participated in music festivals including the Karwendel Music Festival in Germany, Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in the USA, and Great Mountain Music Festival and School, and received masterclasses from Professor Krzystof Wegrzyn at HMTM Hannorver and Professor Patinka Kopec at Manhattan School of Music. 

Maki is a finalist of Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra Instrumental Competition in 2017. As the concertmaster of the KMF Chamber Orchestra in 2017, she is the recipient of KMF's Fine Bow Award Program which enables her to perform with a €20,000 violin bow made by Claude Thomassin for free for a year.
