RIMMA BENYUMOVA
Rimma Benyumova plays Vivaldi "Summer" at KMF 2016.
Prize winners of international competitions in Germany, Austria, Poland and Italy, Russian born violinist Rimma Benyumova performed as soloist with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra “I Pomeriggi Musicali” Milano, the Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Philharmony, Harbin Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra “Kremlin”, Moscow Chamber Orchestra “Russian Camerata”, the Krasnoyarsk Symphony Orchestra and others.
Currently studying with Prof. Ulf Wallin at Hochschule fur Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, Rimma is a scholarship holder of AD Infinitum Foundation Berlin (2013-2015),Oscar und Vera Ritter Foundation Hamburg (2015) and Yamaha Foundation of Europe (2016). She has participated in master classes with Maxim Vengerov, Zakhar Bron, Anna Chumachenko, Dora Shvartsberg, Alexander Vinnitsky, Sergej Krylov. Her teachers include Prof. Tomasz Tomaszewski and Prof. Mikhail Benyumov.
